Hello and welcome to the world of domain names !
Ever wondered what google.com , yahoo.com are actually are?
Just some names with a dot and a three letter word which will take you to a website??
That is partly right! Domain names actually are ip addresses made in a creative manner that will take you to a webpage of the domain owner.
We can just use a simple .com (Or any other similar extension for that matter) to enter a website.
Websites first used ip addresses like the ones our computers have.
But then it was difficult to remember all those numbers....
So it was made much simpler with " Domain Names" which has created a big hype in the internet world today.
Domain names use the DNS system to convert the ip adresses to domain names
( E.g. google.com, yahoo.com, evibe.nl, namepros.com ...... etc. These are domain names ).
This makes the whole process much simpler and easier for us! But are domain names only for websites??
There arises a big question. No! Domain names are not only for websites but for some it is their job to register domain names and sell them
( or park them at a PPC company ). That’s domain business. Buy and sell domain names and make a good profit and enjoy life!
